Observed it for a while just because it was there. Bright double, but I was not able to split.

Easily found naked eye object. Viewed through the scope with a 25mm eyepiece. Open cluster with many bright stars. Could not see any of the nebulosity. Need to try a filter.

Extremely faint nebula. Averted vision helped to see a ring-like structure. Gray only, no color discerned at all.
