Currently an undergraduate at BGSU. I am pursuing a degree in physics with minors in astronomy, computer science, and math. I have access to the telescopes provided here at BGSU, and currently work on staff as a part of the stargaze staff. I hope to further my observational career! My goal is to be an "experimenter" in astronomy: logging observations and acquiring data, and using this data to learn more about the universe. I am not sure about specialization yet, but leaning towards radio astronomy. Galaxy formation, nucleosynthesis, exoplanets, and orbital mechanics are all possible paths I'm looking towards. For any questions, please contact me! |

04/04/15 Lunar Eclipse
Photos were taken using my phone camera, Samsung Galaxy S4. This was my first time taking pictures on the telescope.
Observing conditions: the eclipse began when the moon was ~30 degrees alt, and continued until below the horizon. The sun began to rise, and the moon was no longer visible after a short time through the camera.
