When I first saw M45 through my telescope it took my breath away. All the blue stars tightly packed in the field lead to a beautiful sight. 100-250 stars visible.
Saw this in binoculars, the brightest stars were resolved the rest formed a slight hazy patch.

Small but bright. Another M6 look alike. Looked at this during the perseid meteor shower.

The core is easily visible with diffuse nebulosity filling the eyepiece.

This cluster shows me why Messier thought these objects were comets, in binoculars the cluster isn't resolved and looks exactly like a faint comet.
In the telescope the box shape is visible with a couple stars scattered inside.
